Dating Too Many People, Spending Too Much Time and Money

How many is too many lovers?  How much time is too much time when it comes to staying online meeting and communicating with new friends?  What is the dollar amount on spending too much when dating?

Some people go into the dating world blindly and they don't bother to put any limitations on time, money or anything else.  When this sort of thing happens it isn't any wonder that people argue, fuss, break up, obtain STDS, have unwanted pregnancies, go into debt, end up in jail, and more.  There are simply no boundaries!

When you date far too many people, you exhaust yourself of them sooner or later.  They all start looking and sounding the same in your mind.  You find yourself disinterested in those you should be interested in and settling with those in between sheets that you really don't like that much.

Spending much money on dates has caused many hardships for singles as well as married individuals.  Falling behind in bills won't bring a smile on anyone's face during a date while looking at a dinner bill that could have paid a cell phone bill for two months maybe even three.  Married people should know better not to date singles, but they still chance it.  Now an affair that cost a few hundred dollars or more is now costing them thousands in divorce court.

You may have found that your personal life isn't all that great and so many hours are spent online, texting, video chatting, calling, or meeting people that could have been better spent improving you.

You know when you are dating (or sexing) far too many people when you are:

1.  Often having some issue with your health.
2.  You have to borrow money just to go out on a date.
3.  You are frequently disappointed with your selection of dates.
4.  Your family begin to question or criticize your dating lifestyle.
5.  You find that people, places and things seem to bore you much and you no longer feel excited about anything anymore.
6.  You quarrel much with dates (or physically fight with
them).
7.  You don't have a clue anymore about the future.
8.  You fake interest in people.
9.  You worry much about money and hope that your dates will foot the bills.
10.  You are starting to resent dressing up or impressing dates.

How to Tell if a Date has a Good Sense of Humor

Some people couldn’t make a baby laugh much less an adult. Boring, dry, and humorless people who often take themselves too seriously are most often unhappy. When they do laugh, it must be something terribly funny or for some, quite bizarre—the kind of things that most people wouldn’t dare think was laughable.

A person, who considers his or herself funny, might want to think about whether others believe he or she is funny too. If you have support from many people that show you are the kind of person who can make an audience laugh their socks off, then you most likely are beyond just funny, you could put together a stand up act. However, for the majority of people they aren’t funny like comedians, but on a good day, they do have a sense of humor.

Now, how would you know whether a date is a person who could take a joke, laugh at faults, listen to funny stories about events, and not feel guilty? Well, you would have to test this person periodically. See how he or she responds to your wit. Some people are able to laugh about almost anything and not feel bad, while others not so much. If you find that your date is not responsive or looks at you peculiar, take note, he or she may not find you amusing.

If one having a sense of humor is high on your list, then don’t settle for someone who is often serious. You will find later that your personality and your date’s might not be compatible. A person doesn’t have to be equally funny, but he or she just needs to be a bit laid back and open to some humorous story-telling. Judgmental or critical people tend to hold their laughter and will expect you to do the same. They may look at you with piercing eyes admonishing you to, “Be quiet, shut up…That’s not funny!”

A date who struggles with making his or her dates laugh is trying just too hard. Sometimes comical things just show up in daily life and when they do you have to take advantage of those moments. You might want to repeat the hilarious incident later to get another laugh from your date. You could add your own personal twist to the event.

Watching funny movies, attending a comedic event, or listening to a comedian while you are in the car with a date will break the ice. It will also create a pleasant atmosphere that just might be memorable for the two of you.

You can learn a lot about a person based on what he or she laughs at. Some people have a dark humor that can make you feel quite uneasy. Most likely, these individuals have a dark side too. Others have a child-like humor that can be quite annoying. There’s a good chance these folks are immature in other areas of their lives as well. Then there are those who have a simplistic outlook on life that includes laughing at the little things. These people might be mature. Whatever one’s sense of humor as long as the person is upbeat like your self, he or she just might be a keeper.

5 Things Dates Do that Kill Romance Early On

It isn't any wonder why many romantic relationships don't last.  There are some things that dates do early on that cause much distress later simply because they just can't be honest.  From lying about their age to who they know, some daters will never make a quality connection because they are more concerned about playing a selfish actor's role than being a truly loveable human being capable of giving and receiving love.  So what do some of these people do that kill romantic interest as soon as they get someone's attention?

1.  They lie.

Some manipulators assume that lies will never be found out.  They reason, "It's okay...she won't ever know...how could he find out, it's not like he knows my family and friends?"  But the Internet as well as busybody people offline have a way of revealing truth sooner or later. Therefore, one shouldn't be so confident that a lie won't come to light especially after having one too many drinks.

2.  They are dating too many people at the same time.

No one wants to feel like they are one of five plus people in a woman's or man's group of dates.  So when romantic feelings start to arise, it can be difficult to be trusting when one is dating many others.  Some dates feel cheated when they start to notice that a partner's attention span is on everyone else, but them.  Don't wonder why the romantic interest is over before it even started.  You might want to ignore your cell phone while on a date, keep your eyes focused on your potential lover, and stop surfing those dating and social networking sites while a date has your interest.  Get to know the person who is seated in front of you.

3.  They don't offer their dates any assistance when issues come up.

What good is a friend if he or she is not willing to help in times of need?  From needing a ride to work to borrowing money, a date will have issues and when one doesn't bother stepping up to the plate (when all other methods have been exhausted,) how long do you think he/she will be around?

4.  They exaggerate their lifestyles, connections and material wealth.

When a date finds out that a friend doesn't really have the connections that he/she claims, isn't the least bit wealthy, and lives terribly, why wouldn't he or she be angry?  No one wants to be sold a bag of goods only to find out later there is nothing in that bag.  So the song goes, "I can do bad all by myself..."

5.  They make promises and don't keep them.

You might recall a time when someone promised to do something for you and never came through.  Well when someone who is romantically interested in you says he or she is going to assist/spend/plan or do something else for you and never does, how would that make you feel?  Most people don't keep people in their inner circle who don't keep their word.

Now that you have five date killers, be sure that you take the time to think before you speak or write to a date about what you can do for him/her, how much you love/care for this person, etc. because as soon as you don't do your part, the disputes, accusations, and anger will come.

Dating Tips: Don't Let Pretending to Act Nice Kill Your Spirit

You may have been in a situation where you felt like you had to pretend to be nice and agreeable, because you didn't want a date or partner to think negative things about you.  However, when you walked away from the person, you beat yourself up about what you said or did for him or her.  You really didn't want to go along with "the plan," you really didn't like "the idea," or you preferred to do something else other than what was suggested.

Think of the many people who died because they were behaving nicely.  They reasoned they would help another or do something "nice" while ignoring all the signs within and around them to do something different.  This type of behavior goes on with many people, little do they know they are creating a path of destruction for themselves that will cost them things like:  jobs, relationships, and even their lives, because they just couldn't discipline themselves to do the following.

1.  Just say, "No."

Whenever you know that you just can't do something for someone, don't feel like it is the right thing to do, or simply don't want to do it, say, "No."  Try not to tag on a reason why you can't, just don't do it.  Of course, the person who believes they will benefit from you will attempt to convince you, but you can always walk away.

2.  Avoid agreeing to go places you really don't want to.

How many times has this happened to you?  A lover, friend, or family member provides you with a list of reasons why you should go somewhere even though inside you feel like the timing isn't right.  Then you go with him or her only to discover you could have been more productive staying home or at work.  Sometimes when we agree to doing things we really didn't want to do in the first place, we become the party poopers--having something negative to say about everything.

3.  Don't expect a date/partner to make important decisions for you.

For some people they think that they are keeping up their "nice" persona by letting someone else think through things that they should be doing for their selves.  Then when things don't turn out in the way that they want, they blame others.  They might see that those they are confiding in are getting more out of "the deal" then they are, but because they wanted to play the part of easy-going, fun-to-be around, etc., they missed out on favor that could have been theirs if only they hadn't permitted others to make decisions for them.  Sooner or later one's nice cover is blown--especially when he or she relinquishes control to others.

4.  Keep away from the temptation to suppress who you really are.

No matter who we are good, bad, rich, poor, we should never compromise ourselves (thoughts, behaviors, ethics, culture, style, etc.) so that we can appear to others like we are so perfect, great, and have our lives together all the time.  People, particularly a partner, should see something about you that makes you who you are and be content with being in your presence.

5.  If your date isn't acting nice, why bother?

Sometimes we act nice to others, even when they don't deserve it.  Those that are spiritual know that being kind to an enemy is like raining hot coals over a fire.  Yet, once you realize that one is unapologetically and repeatedly taking your kindness for weakness, there comes a point that you must walk away from the relationship.  As we all know, Misery loves company, so if you don't want to be recruited in Misery's group, keep your distance.

6.  Save your money.

When was the last time you spent money that you know you needed to bring a smile on someone's face?  Once again, you were behaving nicely, but in time you won't be acting so nice when a bill is due.  Think ahead, save your money.  This way you will be less likely to have an external or internal debate about money in the future.

7.  Protect your mind, body and spirit.

Let's face it, there are leeches in this world that don't mind draining you of your life force.  They will manipulate situations to get what they want and then leave you with your mind, body and spirit destroyed.  People that know you, might recall times when you were "nice" and wish for the "old you" to come back, but what if the old you was a mere actress or actor walking unconsciously in life while allowing others to toss you back and forth?  No one wants to return to a life that is blind of relationship wisdom and oppressed by others who merely take more than what they give.

Keep in mind the many women who said "yes" who really meant "no" in loveless relationships who are now divorced, diseased, pregnant, angry, bitter, jobless, or six feet deep sleeping in their graves.  Think about the many men who said,"yes" to jobs, marriages, relocation, poor wages, problematic automobiles, and other things and now are taking their anger out on others, or worse, sickly or deceased, because they just couldn't say, "No."

What You Should NEVER Do On A Date With A Guy: From Matthew Hussey, GetT...

When They Expect You to Date Your Own Kind

Ignorant people have a way of putting their prejudices off on others.  If they don't like a certain ethnicity, gender, culture, language, etc. they assume that you feel the same way simply because you might look or sound like them.  But with so much marketing of all sorts of relationships, whatever you thought was typical, normal, or okay is being suppressed slowly but surely.  The typical American couple looks nothing like the magazines of yesteryear.

Interracial relationships, divorced partners, same sex partnerships, age-gap dating, open marriages, and more are the new norm.  Despite the stares and the comments, people will continue to date who they want, when they want and how they want.  Some couples simply don't care what anyone has to say about their choice in a mate.

You might fit in one of the above mentioned groups.  You may have received some negative comments from people about your selection in a date.  For some, you might have been pushed out of certain circles because you chose "not to do as the Romans do."  Fighting back with the same hurtful statements, eye rolls, stares, and more does nothing but create more animosity in an already tense setting.  A relationship that just might make it, may not when individuals are under stress about what outsiders say and do.  For many successful couples, they have learned to enjoy their lives, despite opposition, and keep those close who are in support of them.  But keep in mind too, that relationships typically don't last as long as family bonds.  Therefore, making a relative who sincerely loves and cares about your well-being an enemy would be foolish!  Never assume that the effort you put into maintaining your relationship will be met with the same passion by a mate who may not be completely sold out or willing to stand up to others to keep you.

Many of us have spent years fighting people, places and things to accept our personal lifestyle choices.  Notice I said, personal.  What you do behind closed doors is ultimately your business and no one else's--that is until you come out in the open with your love interest.  For some people, especially loved ones, they make your business their business.  From the young woman who chooses to date an older man to the white guy who brings home an Asian woman, people who don't like couples who aren't like them will always have something to say.

"Take the bitter with the sweet," a relative once told me, so I did.  I made a point to enjoy all my love interests prior to choosing a more conservative lifestyle.  Whether he was black, white, red or yellow, I always knew someone somewhere would be waiting for that opportunity to tell me about "Those type..." or question me about "them."

My advice to anyone in an unusual relationship is to find out what completes the two of you and why you sincerely want to partner with this person.  If it is because of sexual reasons, material wealth, fame, a personal fetish for a certain skin tone or body frame, etc.--best wishes--because most relationships built on shallow reasons don't go the distance.  Sooner or later personal prejudices show up and show out.  "My mother always told me about your kind...why did I bother...you people are something else...my dad told me about your type!"  Uh oh!

Sometimes it takes a series of breakups to really know what you want.  Personal discomfort, outside influences, arguments, and more contribute to the failure of many relationships.  If you can get pass the issues, forgive one another, and work together, love just might conquer all.

Ignore the negative people and the fearful critics (who only wish they could be so bold,) and allow true love to permeate your mind, body and spirit!

Don't Lie, Don't Leave Out Important Details

If you were riding in a car with a date you met recently and just chatting away about your life with him or her, you would most likely skip over all the negative stories and stick to the things that make you feel good and hopefully that person as well.  But sometimes those feel-good stories have some details that can't be omitted out without a date questioning later, "Well why did that happen?  What made you do what you did?  How did you end up with that person and move where you did?"  It is very tempting to alter a few details and leave truthful information out, but don't.  I repeat, don't!  Once you start down that path of omitting information or blatantly lying about details of your personal life, you will have to keep your story up.  You will start to look for a way to persuade someone to believe one thing while covering other things.  You will also find that you don't appear necessarily honest especially when you slip up.  If you have caught yourself lying or omitting details, come clean by saying something like, "I realized that I spoke to quickly...that didn't happen the way I had originally explained it, let me try again."

Self-centered people often miss out on decent relationships with honest individuals, because they aren't open, truthful, or even care much about the other person.  Rather their focus is on what material or sexual gain they might get before the night is over.  So being careful not to screw up an opportunity to appease one's flesh, they make their lives appear better than they are.  The Know-It-All acts smarter than she truly is.  The Liar acts like he is a man of integrity.  The Gossip pretends to be trustworthy.  The Abused appears to be strong.  So many personalities one has to deal with when dating.  Usually the truth reveals itself the longer you converse with the person, notice I didn't mention sleep with the person.  Spend too much time being behind closed doors with a date and not enough time getting to know the person in various atmospheres interacting with different people,  and your truth will take longer to get to.  The person will just learn how to cover his or her basis a little better so that he or she can keep getting fleshly needs met.  Don't be put off when one isn't responding to you in a way that other dates may have such as being affectionate and showering you with flattering statements, people who truly want to get to know a person look beyond the surface and arrest emotions at least for a time until they get to know you.

Seek truth when talking to your date.  Ask the basic questions that people are most comfortable about answering, but as you get more serious with this individual start asking those uncomfortable questions.  Watch mannerisms when questions are asked.  The liar is going to either try real hard to look honest, look away while giving a little bit of truth, give more information than necessary while still not really answering your questions, or digress to give his or her self time to think.  Some people become openly irritated and will try to hide their "dark side" by making jokes, smiling, or asking you to change the subject.  You may have done some things like this yourself.

When dates are truthful from the start, they will quickly realized whether they want to continue pursuing a relationship with one another or move on.  Cut your losses early, life is just too short!  Think of all the people who could have avoided a lot of unhappy years with someone had they been honest from the start!

When Seeking a Date at a Family Function

There are some dos and don'ts when trying to connect with someone at a family function.  If you don't want to be the butt of jokes, ashamed, or marked as a jerk or some other bad name, watch what you say and do.  Unlike others just enjoying time with the family, you are on a mission--good luck!

Here are some of the don'ts:

1.  Don't talk to anyone with bad breath.  Obvious advice right?  Think about how many people at family gatherings forget they ate something with onions or garlic and now they want to share their hot smelling breath with everyone.

2.  Don't use a happy time to vent about your frustrations with life, work, government, religion, relationships, etc.  You will surely be marked as a loser!

3.  Don't lie or exaggerate because people who knew you when...will blow your cover.

As follows, here are some of the dos:

1.  Do ask questions.

2.  Do compliment your potential date.

3. Do listen to your potential date and do take the time to introduce this person to someone you know at the family gathering that he or she might not, share an interesting hobby, point out an interesting photo, etc.

Simple enough tips, right?  Let's see how you'll do.  Be sure to come back to this blog and tell your story.

6 Safety Precautions You Should Take Before & During Your Dating

In one’s quest to find Mr. Right or Ms. Right, he or she will find that there are more Mr. and Ms. Wrongs. So that you are saving yourself time and money, learn how to protect yourself from a potentially bad date. There are tips discussed that may also save your life.

One. Take a self-defense course, watch an online video, or DVD about protecting yourself. You just never know a woman or man may act like a lady and gentleman at first, but spend a little time with them and they may do or say things that threaten you. Don’t get caught off guard. Learn maneuvers to restrain a woman who may be clawing or biting you. Find out how to fight a man who may be a lot bigger than you.

Two. When making arrangements to meet, let your date know that you have some things to do after the date. He or she may want to change the appointment, don’t do it. This will be your excuse in case you don’t like his or her company. If you don’t want to come off as a liar, really do plan to meet with relatives or friends after the date (Let them know in advance the name of the person and any other pertinent details you may have about him or her.) If it is too late to meet with family or friends, be sure you really do have work to do. You may tell your date that you have tasks to do such as ironing a shirt for the next morning, studying, cleaning your bathroom, and anything else that will send a message to him or her that these activities are more important than spending any more time with you. The last thing you want to be in anyone’s eyes including someone you are not fond of is a liar even if he or she is offended that you aren’t interested in them. You never know where you might see this person again.

Three. Don’t arrange to meet at your home or job on the first date. If you do this and the date doesn’t go well, you may receive pop up visits from him or her wanting to know when you will be available to go out again. Also, you don’t know enough about this person; he or she may be a stalker.

Four. Meet at a public area and drive your own vehicle. If you don’t have a car, be sure there are bus lines near the location. If you need to cut the date short, you definitely don’t want to have to rely on him or her for a ride. You may find yourself in his or her car having to listen to how bad of a person you are or arguing about some issue that happened during the date.

Five. Don’t ignore first impressions. The gut feeling or something told me feeling has saved many people’s lives. When you feel that this person may not be your ideal mate, don’t try to talk yourself into being in a relationship with him or her. Some people are gifted, being able to see what the future looks like with their date, and if you envision that you and the children you may have one day with this person will incur many problems, this isn’t an overactive imagination at work, this is a sign to keep away!

Six. Don’t plan to invite this person back to your home, hotel room, or any place where you will be out of the public eye. By accepting an invite or welcoming a date to your private spot especially during the first few dates, tells this person you are interested in him or her. If you find yourself on the fence about this person, don’t go back to their place thinking things will get better. Ask yourself this question, “How much time will I be spending in the bed with this person as compared to how much time I will be out of the bed with him or her?” Of course, you know the answer. So if this person irritates you, isn’t good-looking to you, and has bad breath, why settle?

Both men and women have a problem with rejection; therefore, one may not easily say no to another. If saying no is hard for you, then you will need to put a plan in place in advance that will help you let your date down gently once you discover that he or she isn’t right for you.

As mentioned earlier, you will want to include the following in your plan: skills on self defense, a plan of escape, limited conversation about where you live and where you work, arrange for your own transportation, keep your eyes open to things you don’t like about his or her personality, and avoid areas where you can’t be seen by the public.

How to Understand a Woman's Body Language - And Know If She Likes You (3 Easy Tricks You Must Know)

People say that reading the works of Homer and Nietzsche would be much easier compared to reading the thoughts of a girl. Oftentimes, it would appear that girls say one thing when they actually want to say something completely different. Because of this, a lot of guys get confused when they try to untangle the thoughts of a girl - what more when trying to truly understand them?

This is quite ironic since guys try to read something that they do not know the language of. Naturally, this results in confusion and then denial. However, there are several surefire signs that girls show through body language, which guys could learn to read. You simply need to understand this female body language before it can get easier for you to read female thoughts.

See, girls truly only want three things out of life: romance, security, and to feel special. If you have the ability to give a girl these things, then reading them would be just as easy as a book for kids - with nothing but pictures.

Easy Tactics To Decode Female Body Language

Tactic Number One: Make sure that you pay close attention to her eyes. If she likes you, she should be looking straight into your eyes with a flicker of happiness emanating from her own.

Tactic Number Two: If a girl likes you, she will lean closer to you every time you talk. Doing this will let you know that her concentration is solely on you, that she is thinking only about you and that she wants to get to know you better.

Tactic Number Three: If she is the one to initiate conversations whenever you see each other, this would be a clear sign that she likes you. Girls will take every chance they can get to strike conversations with guys that they like because they truly enjoy talking to them.

Now that you know the basic tactics to reading female body language, you can arm yourself with some tactics of hypnosis next to supercharge those abilities of seduction. One tactic is called fractionation and has the ability to make girls fall for guys in no more than 15 minutes.

Fractionation might seem to be complicated, but in fact it is very easy to apply - if you know the step-by-step formula. Regular guys have been known to be able to use this tactic to make any woman they lay their eyes on like them very quickly. Amazingly effective - although some have objected to this tactic because it may seem to be unfair to women.

However, please be careful...as fractionation (http://www.FractionationFormula.com) could be the most explosive piece of seduction technology ever invented.

This technique is simple to use but it gives "seduction superpowers" to the regular guy to attract the woman of his dreams. If you want to seduce women in as quickly as 15 minutes, then download the Fractionation Formula for free.

Ready to Have Sex?

Now are you sure? Because if you do, you know what this means. The way you see your relationship today, won't be the same by next week - I guarantee it! Your partner will start acting more concerned about where you are going, who you are seeing, whose on the phone, and what Internet sites you visited. There is something magical about sex. It makes people draw near for awhile, but then when the potion begins to wear off, people act strange, very strange.

You may recall what happened the last time you had sex before the relationship was mature enough to handle it. She called you way too much wanting to know far too much. He acted like you were the very best thing since slice bread in the beginning of the relationship then eventually forgot what bread even looked like much less tasted like.

So should men and women take it slow when it comes to sex? Yes! And what should they do to take it slow. I wrote about that too. Check out a site I contribute articles to:
