According to the US Census Bureau, there are certain states that have larger populations of single men and women than others. Based on data from 2019, Washington D.C., Alaska, New York, and Hawaii had the highest percentage of singles among those 18 years old and over. On the flip side, North Dakota had the lowest percentage of single people in the 18+ category.
